Maggie brings 20 years of experience and professional training to her independent advocacy work, where she leverages her attention to detail, relentless curiosity and compassion to help clients and families navigate frustrating, scary and uncertain times. After training and working as both a Registered Nurse and Physician Assistant, she has developed a breadth of knowledge of the healthcare system and skill communicating across teams for what clients need.

Maggie has worked in small clinics and large academic centers and has received specialized training in family-centered, values-based care and interdisciplinary team communication. She is a problem-solver and won’t rest until a solution is found that supports your needs and goals.

Maggie lives with her family in Bellingham, WA and enjoys hiking, cooking and planning trips for her family.

    We start by understanding your values, needs and goals. We review your medical history, current situation, and areas where you need advocacy services.

    An experienced Advocate will create an Action Plan based on information collected during the assessment. We will meet to review and refine it before starting our work together.
